SUN'S Secret

As the illustrator and AR artist on Sun’s Secret, I set out to bring the “secret” of saffron’s golden-hour harvest to life in both print and digital form. Drawing on the centuries-old Iranian motif of Khorshid Khanoom—the regal sun-lady crowned in light—I hand-sketched a guardian figure entwined with oversized saffron blossoms, each petal exaggerated in rich violets to evoke the pre-dawn fields. On the shelf, the minimalist white and purple box feels both luxurious and mysterious; once you scan it with your phone, the artwork springs into an immersive AR filter. Layer by layer, you watch buds unfurl under virtual sun-rays, petals dance in the dew, and the Sun’s Secret goddess awaken—an interactive journey that reveals why saffron must be plucked before sunrise, when its fragrance and color are at their peak.
